Our last term was packed with memorable activities and celebrations. We hosted a bootcamp for the younger classes during Wellbeing Week, enjoyed our school tour to Alive Outside, made and flew world record paper planes, took part in a fun baby photo quiz, played the drums and prepared artwork for the school Art Exhibition before rounding off the term by celebrating our graduation from 6th Class and marking the end of eight wonderful years in Sruleen. Well done to all the boys who played on Sruleen's senior football team this year. The boys gave their all in every game, with plenty of skill on show. Unfortunately it wasn't to be in the cup or league, but we still got some good wins under our belt. A special mention to all the 6th Class boys who are leaving us. You have been a credit to the school and we hope you will continue to be in your secondary schools!

We had a great day in Explorium today. A lot of fun and exploring was had. The children were excellent as always.

Lots of fun was had on Monday at our Sports Day.

At the end of May, our Sruleen children had a great day at the Santry Athletics Championships. All the children competed so well and we are very proud of how they conducted themselves on the day. A special congratulations must also be extended to our three medal winners on the day. For the second year in a row, Alex won a medal in the Under 14 600 metres, this time earning the Bronze medal in what was a 600 metre final of blistering pace. Amelia added yet another medal to go

This is a just a short post of appreciation for our wonderful girls football team who provided us with so many special and memorable moments this year. The girls reached the final of the South Dublin FAI 5 a side tournament and they also won the Clondalkin group stage of the FAI school league before losing 3-2 in the semi-final to a very strong St. Kevin's team in what was a really exciting, high-intensity, top quality match. These girls had such a great team spirit all year.

As part of Wellbeing week Mr Rafters 6th did excellent stations with us today. We had so much fun and used up so much energy. Look at those red faces!
