Ms. Flaherty's class have fun making patterns. There are lots of ways to make patterns. Try making some patterns at home.

This winter junior infants had lots of fun splashing in puddles, playing and learning. At play time we love taking care of babies and working as a team to make jigsaw puzzles. We are becoming wonderful artists and writers, we enjoy practice our handwriting every day. We love reading stories all by ourselves and now we can spot some of our favourites sounds and sight words while we are reading our favourite books. In junior infants we learnt lots about different modes of transport. We also learnt how to stay safe when we walk on the road and enjoyed walking on the path together. We created some fantastic railways, built airports and car washes with lego and enjoyed playing with the car ramp during during play time. Our SNA Patricia taught us all about being an flight attendant, she showed us the uniform and how to show all the passengers to put on their seatbelts when the plane is read

This year for advent Ms. Flaherty's class read a new Christmas story every day. We read 16 Christmas stories all together. It was so much fun to open a new storybook everyday and read it together. After reading each story we discussed if we wanted to give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down. We are good at explaining our reasons for liking or disliking a story. ATC's - The children worked very hard over several months creating many Artist Trading Cards and here they are finally getting to trade them The Aztecs - The children enjoyed learning about the Aztec culture and got to create face masks and braid bracelets. Christmas Decorations made in Class Clothes Drive - Some of the girls in my class helped out with the Clothes Drive. Thanks to everyone who contributed. Pyjama Day Its cold out there!
