Well done to our brilliant girls Football Team!

This is a just a short post of appreciation for our wonderful girls football team who provided us with so many special and memorable moments this year. The girls reached the final of the South Dublin FAI 5 a side tournament and they also won the Clondalkin group stage of the FAI school league before losing 3-2 in the semi-final to a very strong St. Kevin's team in what was a really exciting, high-intensity, top quality match. These girls had such a great team spirit all year. They produced some truly superb passing football, always represented the school with pride and class and will always be remembered as being one of our best groups of young sportswomen we have ever had in the school - most of them were integral to our first ever win in Croke Park, after all! They certainly have very promising

futures ahead of them playing sport and there is no doubt that we have some really talented soccer players in the school with the potential to go on and compete at a really high level if they stay motivated to work hard. As we will be saying goodbye to our Sixth Class girls in less than two weeks time, we just want to wish Lacey, Ria, Sadie, Heidi, Molly, Julia, Kylie, Keeva and Emily the very best of luck in your future sporting endeavours and say 'Thank you for your service'! We will be keeping track of your sporting progress in the future, for sure!
