It's been a busy term 2 in Mr Rafter's 6th Class. Please see our photos which showcase some of the many activities we got up to, including making and erupting our own volcanoes, planting daffodils, posting letters to our grandparents to celebrate Grandparents' Day, engaging in maths games, partaking in a workshop as part of STEPS Engineering Week, getting the 13 bus into town to visit Hodges Figgis and to meet the author Brian Gallagher (which also included having lunch in Trinity College), rehearsals for the upcoming musical 'Let's Go Fly A Kite', singing 'Man I Need' as Gaeilge as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge and making and using our own 'lockers' to help us prepare for secondary school. To top it all off, many of the children received the Sacrament of Confirmation on the 20th March!
