Spring in Mr Lawlor's 4th Class

The children have had a very busy time since Christmas. Please take a look at some of the super work they've done lately. A big thank you to everyone who helped along the way. Wishing everyone a lovely Easter break!

During 'Coicís na Gaeilge' the children took part in many fun activities including Irish dancing. The school had a 'Lá Glas' Day where everyone wore green to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day and we had a hot seat interview with Saint Patrick himself were we learned about his life.

The children worked hard on their persuasive writing and came up with amazing Dragon's Den ideas

As part of the 'Spellings For Me' programme the children are learning new strategies to help them remember their spellings. Here are some of the wonderful displays of their efforts together with those who won prizes for their exemplary work.

STEM Week - The children got to enjoy some of the activities during STEM week

On a trip to Corkagh Park recently, the children got to learn interesting facts from two of it's knowledgeable Park Rangers

World Book Day - The children got to write and listen to some wonderful stories and create amazing decorations for this special day.

Art Work and Cake Sale - Some wonderful artwork from Easter and Spring and St Brigid's Day together with the Cake Sale
