Community Litter Picking Activity - Mr Lawlor's 5th Class

The children showed a wonderful Community Spirit recently performing a local Litter Picking Activity. I would like to thank the support we received from the South Dublin County Council in sourcing materials. This was a rare opportunity for the children to gain an awareness of their local area and bring a sense of community and responsibility in keeping our common areas clean and tidy. It afforded them a sense of civic pride about their local environment and was a chance to contribute and lead by example. And they all did a fantastic job!
