Camogie 2025

Wishing a huge congratulations to our camogie team who have just finished a brilliant 2025 season!

This year's squad is made up of girls from 4th - 6th class. All of the girls have been training hard during their lunch breaks and have competed in a blitz and 3 league games. (All played in hot, sunny conditions!)

The team this year includes a mix of new and experienced players. We had girls who play for their local Round Towers teams, as well as girls who picked up a hurl for the first time this year! A special mention to our 4th class girls, most of which are playing senior school camogie for the first time, but this didn't hold any of them back!.

All of the girls put in a huge effort and battled to the bitter end in each match. They were captained this year by 6th class student Shona Lennon, who showed great leadership and school spirit throughout.

Well done on representing Sruleen in such a fantastic manner, you did the school proud.
