Another fantastic day at the races!

We had our best day ever at the Clondalkin Cross Country races in the first week in March. We had no less than 8 winners which is more than we have ever had before! Kesther Efe, Luke Healy, Zach Healy, Lee Victory and Sarah Fagan all managed to maintain their 100% winning record at the races with commanding performances. Mason Whelan and Jack O'Brien both produced terrific efforts to register their first victory at the races and a special mention must go to Kayla Kenna who finally got her first ever win after years of trying in the Fifth Class girls race! We also had numerous other brilliant performances. Other runners who managed to finish in the Top 5 of their respective races include Victor, Hannah, Zara, Ethan, Abbie Kerins, Abbie Kirwan, Ava, Holly, Dylan, Jack Rothwell, Brandyn, Sean, Max, Jonathon, Charlie and Cian. Most of our runners managed to finish in the Top 10 of their races and every single one of them gave the best performance that they could give and that is all we can ask of them. During these difficult times, it cannot be stressed enough how important it is to encourage the children to keep exercising and practicing their sports skills and hopefully, some of the children will feel compelled to take part in the 'Sruleen Skills Challenge' over the next few days.
