A fantastic experience at the Santry Athletics Championships!

At the end of May, our Sruleen children had a great day at the Santry Atheltics Championships. All the children competed so well and we are very proud of how they conducted themselves on the day. A special congratulations to Alex for winning the silver medal in the Under 14 600 metres final. This is a particularly impressive achievement given that Alex is only a few weeks short of being eligible for Under 11s! Ayda and Niamh also won a medal each for their wonderful entries in the Santry Art competition and deserve huge credit for their great achievements! Three of our Four Relay teams reached the final of their respective events while Jack and Keeva (both under 11) also narrowly missed out on a medal in the Under 14 high jump! Lacey and Marcos both reached the final of their respective Under 12 sprint races

too and will no doubt be looking forward to having another crack at the Sprint event next year again! All in all, all our competitors gave a great account of themselves and their behaviour was exemplary which is the most important thing! Well done everyone!
