3rd and 4th Class visited the 1916 Memorial Garden at Newlands cross on Friday 27th May. We looked at the garden and spoke about the circular path that symbolizes peace and the seven trees that represent each of the seven people who signed the proclamation. We sketched the garden and also made some stone rubbings of the proclamation. Click on the image to see more photos from our trip.
