Rise and Shine Breakfast Club

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Rise and Shine Club is a breakfast club available to children of the school. Ceral and cold beverages will be available to the children. It will run from 8am - 9 am Monday to Friday beginning Monday 16th of September and will continue until Christmas. We will operate on a termly basis.

The daily cost for breakfast club is €5 per child or €20 for the week.

If you would like to sign your child up for the week, full payment must be be made on the Monday. Payment for children attending on a casual basis is due on that morning.

If you have prepaid and your child is absent, we will provide a refund for that day.

We will have a messaging system in place for attendance. If you intend to use breakfast club on a casual basis, you must notify us by text by 9pm the night before. Therefore, you child can be added to the attendance list. We do have a cut-off point of 25 children so early notification would secure your place.

The Aladdin app will be used for general notifications from teachers to parents.

In the case of unforeseen circumstances i.e. adverse weather conditions, we will send timely notification if deemed necessary.

We will operate on a handover basis. Children must be dropped to the gate and handed over to one of the teachers.

Older children who may walk to school must remember that the club does not open until 8 am.

If you are running late (after 8:05), please notify us by text so we can meet you at the door.

For safety reasons, parents must park their cars outside the school gate due to traffic flow in the carpark.

Infants will be brought to their class at 9am. 1st-6th classes will make their own way to their classrooms.

If you wish to sign-up on a weekly or casual basis please sign and return a breakfast form club (form can be obtained from Ms. Geoghegan and Ms. Kerrigan). You may pay in advance if you would like to secure a place, otherwise, payment can be made on the Monday morning. Any additional questions please ask Ms. Geoghegan and Ms. Kerrigan.

Many Thanks,

The Breakfast Club Teachers.
