Dot Day is named for the classic Peter H. Reynolds storybook The Dot. The book shares the story of a girl who begins a journey of self-discovery after a caring teacher challenges her to “make her mark.”
International Dot Day is celebrated by adults and children for boosting courage so that their creative potential is released. It is a great day to connect and collaborate, and also to celebrate self-expression.
Junior Infants and 6th class got together to create our own 'dot' masterpiece. The 6th class pupils helped the infants to paint, print and cut out dots in different colours.
