Ms. Murphy's class took part in the 'Incredible Edibles' programme where they learned how to grow their own strawberries, potatoes, carrots, spinach, turnips and chives.
They learned that its important to give the plants lots of water, sunlight and air.
They sewed them in small pots in the classroom and transferred them into the school garden.
5th class have picked lots of potatoes, chives, spinach so far and are looking forward to the strawberries!
